Mayo ASA Asian Student Alliance
A student being warmly welcomed into a group

Get Involved

Membership is open. So is the door.

You don't need to be Asian, Pacific Islander, or Desi to join. Allies are just as much a part of this as anyone. All you really need is some curiosity.

FAQ

Common questions

Do I have to be Asian to join?

Nope! Mayo ASA is for Asian American, Pacific Islander, and Desi students, and for any allies who want to hang out, celebrate culture, and give back with us.

Is this just a cultural club?

Pretty much, yeah. Plus we fundraise for real causes. It's community, food, traditions, celebrations, and right now, raising money for Nepal flood relief too. That's really it, no hidden agenda.

Who runs Mayo ASA?

Wilson Wang started it, along with Chen Liang, Kevin Wang, and Nathaniel Yuan. Check out the About page if you want the full story.

Does Mayo ASA do charity work?

Yep! Right now we're raising money for Nepal flood relief, to help communities recovering from the August 2026 flash floods. Check out the Global Impact page for how to help.

Can my club do a joint event with Mayo ASA?

Sure. Reach out using the contact info above if you want to plan a joint cultural event or fundraiser together.

Show up once. See if it's for you.

No commitment required for your first meeting — just curiosity.
